Hello, 1. Did anyone manage to set Q3 to work in 32 bit mode on voodoo3 2k (yes, I know that v3 doesnt support 32 bit, but 22 or 24 bit or whatever it supports is very beautiful comparing to 16 bit) 2.

well, i agree the beta does need alot of fixes with _SOME_ hardware, however after installing the final it seems alot better. Now to get to the point of Win2K and games. It's well known that Win2K runs alot of games (Unreal, Unreal Tournament, Q3, Ultima 9) and most newer games that actually do run in win2k BETTER ...

I downloaded the newest Matrox drivers for the G400 in 2000. Q3 loads and starts playing, but locks up after no more than 10 second of play. Help. .

Here's the problem: I installed the game (standard install), applied the patch aviable at and tried to launch it. It shows a splash screen with a castle on it, reads the cd for a couple of seconds, then just stops.

I have Windows 2000 installed on my Dell Inspiron 7000 notebook and all is well, except for two things. First is the lack of support for my hardware DVD decoder. . . but that's not a major setback since I can use a software player.

I've installed W2K about ten times now, everytime I install it I do so because there is a new fix or new drivers that will allow me to play games better. But I have come full circle. Windows 2000 will never be a gamers os.

Quake3 freezes!! When i almost had it working!

im using a voodoo3 2000 and win2k 2195 Well ive tryed everything and i went to and i got the drivers and everything i did like the instructions said i installed it and then when i started quake3 at the ID logo movie the game freezes if i try to skip it it still freezes if i just let it go.

Hi there. . . I install the voodoo2 3dfx driver for Win2K, but when i execute the program that come with a lot of electronic arts games (3DSetup), it only show me Software renderer. When i got Win98SE, it's show me Voodoo2 3Dfx.

When I run dxdiag in win2k it says I have direct x7 already do I still need to install the ones that say directx7 final I see everywhere like at chameleons and seldzar. .

I have been trying to play my fixt x games in windows rc3 pro and they work ok excep in all the games the mouse buttons stick and wont realease unless you press them acouple of times not sure what the rob is but if someone has an answer I would appreciate it.

MS Flight Sim 2000 and W2k

Flight Sin 2k PRO shows as W2K compatible on the compatiblity table. Will plain old FS 2K work on W2K? I'm holding out getting a joystick till W2K comes out. I'm using NT4. 0 and only Sidewinder 3D pro appears to work with NT and I'm told they don't make them anymore.

Ok, I've spent a while screwing with win2k, almost gave up and put 98 back in when I found out a few little tricks to get things working right. First of all, driver conflicts were a *****, and some just didn't work.
