Has anyone tried these yet? - link on the front page. . . . apparently work in Windows 2000 as well. What's performance, etc like? - want to know if they're worth installing before I try it Exorcist.

Win2K boot disk problems

I need to flash my dvd-rom's bios so that it will work in Win2K. However, I have no clue on how to make a boot disk that will work with it. What do I need to do?.

New drivers out! Haven't tried them yet since all the links are dead. If anyone have tried it out before the link was removed, tell me if it supports tv-out on the Deluxe versions. And if the colors in Media Player still screws up while using Asus' drivers.

ATi Rage Fury Pro - Thoughts/Input

I'm consider switching to this card. Primary reason is that the drivers for my current card (Matrox G400) have problems with certain applications (same problems that occurred w/ Win98SE continue in Win2000).

What's a "Print Processor" under advanced printer

If I right-click on my printer, choose properties > advanced > Print Processor, I can choose between two different print processors (Lexmark Print Processor and Win Print), and 5 different default datatypes (Raw, Raw , Raw , NT EMF 1.

Hibernation where have you gone ??

HI, Well I have this small problem about hibernation : When I first installed W2K my IBM drive was on the ATA33 controller of my BP6 and no problemo I could see the hibernation tab and even use it.

Windows 2000 FIX, IS THIS TRUE

I was told by someone that they fixed the game problems with Windows 2000, by deleting the windows directory, deleteing msdos. sys and all of those that are in C:\ then install DOS, then immediately install Windows 2000 after that.

TRAXDATA CDR4120PRO or TEAC 55s

anyone got this CDR to work under win2k? it works fine in win98 but even with the latest firmware it simply DOESNT write under win2k. It reads data flawlessy but when i try to burn something it come out with could not perform write.

Now that the latest version of LiveWare fully supports EAX 3D sound in Windows 2000 you can have 3D sound in Quake3. As you may know, Quake3 only supports 3D sound on Aureal cards but there is a way around this.

Hi, Like the title says, is it normal that my CPU usage in task manager jumps 100% when printing, and stays there until the print is finished? In other words, my computer becomes extremely slow when I print something, even a text document in Word.

SBLIVE not what its cracked up to be..

Hi all, Ive been using a SBLIVE XGamer for about 2 weeks now. . im not impressed. . EAX is not worth it if you only have 3 speakers (2 satellites 1 Sub) if you have the room for 4 speakers go for it.

EAX not working correct

I use the liveware2000 beta and can't get EAX to work In UT the sound is really distorted when I use EAX and in Half-Life the game wont recognice the EAX stuff. Any ideas?.

has anyone heard of an opti driver for win2k. . . i have a friend who cant install his sound card because of lack of support. if he has to get a new sound card which chipsets are supported in win2k?? i told him anything creative works good.
