Hi guys, I've the same rebooting problem with the liveware w2k from creative as a lot of people. I've read that there is a batch file in this newsgroup that first removes the old drivers so that afterwards you can install the new drivers.

Best Supported Scanner?

Anyone know of a scanner that is fully supported in Win2K? In other words, a scanner with twain drivers that allow resizing/selective resolution at which you can scan at. Preferably a price range between $189-$269.

ARG, Allof my CD drives seem to be lsow as heck in 2000, how can yo umake sure DMA is active on the CD drives? in Win95 and 98 it was simple, but I can;t find it in 2000, and if it is indeed off, how do I turn it on?

Ok this is the deal. . Im running Windows 2k 333mhz Celeron. 128mb pc-100 SDRAM 3 hard drives and a 40x cd-rom. . Sound Blaster Live and Liveware 2k. . (finally got it workin). . I have problems with my keyboard and mouse.

DVDRAM + Win2000 Drivers?

I have a Panasonic DVDRAM LF-D103E connected to an Adaptec 2930U2 PCI SCSI card. Win2000 detects the drive as a DVDROM but won't detect the DVDRAM aspect at all. When I try to install the driver software that came with the drive I get an error saying Check OS.

Hi, since i have installed Liveware for Win2k, i have shutdownproblems. I can`t shutdown and restart my system, it crashes after win2k has saved the userconfigs. I have reinstalled win2k but the problem was the same.

hello. . when I try to shutdown win2k, my PC alwaysrestarts I saw i didn't have the choice to hibernate the PC is there a link between these 2 things?. . . in win98 my system can hibernate & shutdown.

liveware 2000 problems with mediaplayer

i installed liveware 200 the other day and i noticed that every time i play a mpeg file the audio and the video skips 1 second a couple of times a minute. . does anyone else have this problem?? is there any workarounds or is it just going back to the standard w2k drivers??? my system is a: dual celeron 400 on a bp6 ...

I have a Storm Platinum that install fine with the Windows WDM driver. No matter what I do, however, the sound will only work for about a minute (presuming I am not running any other program - in that case it just stops working instantly).

Hi guys! Does anyone have the same problems running games on win2k and get this blue screen MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION. Everyone of my applications work fine, but games always give med the BSOD at a random time.

I know that they are in beta but usually the beta at least works to some degree. Anyone else out there have a V3 3500 TV and have gotten the beta 3Dfx drivers to work? I would love to be able to use the TV tuner on the card once again.

Anybody use this board? iF so have you encountered any problems with it under win2000? Upgrading from a 3dfx banshee to a TNT cannot get the TNT drivers from creative to install properly. . does this have to do with the ALI chipset on the motherboard? any help appreciated Rok.
