SB Live Value under Win2k am I hearing wrong?

Well I just replaced my AWE64 value isa card with an SBlive Value card and I installed liveware 3. 0 for win2k. Problem is I am really not impressed with the sound difference between the two cards. Maybe im hearing impaired or something.

Works well under NT, but under Win2000 it is recognoized as Fritz-card and won't work with the speedway software. Please advise. .

It seems that some batches of BP6 motherboards have a defective VTT voltage regulator which causes random lock-ups. You may want to have a look at for the full story, the serial numbers involved and a possible fix.

Hey m8s! I have a huge problem with my modem in Win2k. It's a Jet medialabs V1456VQE-R. Acctually, the Jet Medialabs part ain't so important since several comanies sell the V1456VQE-R modem. I have flashed it to v90 (with utility from Aksey).

MS Sidewinder Gamepad trouble?

Hi all, I have a MS Sidewinder Gamepad (regular). It comes with a Win95 drivers CD. It works in Win98, but not in Win2k. The compatibility lists on the main page list the Sidewinder as being Win2k compatible, but when I try to install it, it says the drivers won't work because it's for Win95 and won't let me continue.

Promise Ultra33 IDE controller and W2K?

My sysetm has a Promise Ultra33 controller with two hard drives attached. I ran Microsoft's chkupgrd. exe to check my hardware and it makes no mention of this controller. But, this controller is not on Microsoft's hardware compatibility list.

4 meg apeture problem with agp cards in Win2k solved !!!!!!!

Ok sorry about the caps im just so excited, I was having the black screen problem in win2k with my pa-2013 rev 2. 1 and matrox g400 32 meg card. only soultion was to drop the apeture to 4 megs and turn off agp2x.

Okay, here's a new spin. dynamic disks CANNOT seem to be cloned. . yet syamantec and powerquest maintain they have 2k compatibility a lie or did I not see something. . assuming either would provide anything resembling real documentation on either product.

hiho, anybody knows a way to rescan the scsi bus in win2k to find devices that have not been powered on when the computer started. In win98 it was easy - just needed to press update in devicemanager, but that does not help in win2k.
