ATI Rage Pro and "Stand by" mode

I've got an ATI 3d Rage Pro AGP 2X display device, and i can't have my computer go to stand by mode. The OS tells me that it can't initiate Standby mode because of the ATI driver, which, according to Windows 2000, is reluctant to allow the standby mode.

I was just wondering if there are any compatible drivers for voodoo 2 and i740 for win2k. Drivers that have D3d and Opengl enabled? Any help is appreciated. .

Original Monster Sound and Win2k

Hello, I actually own an original monster sound and I was convinced that this card was nouted with a Vortex1 chipset. It seems that it doesn't. So could someone tell me how to enable sound within Windows 2000 build 2072.

Problems with DHCP and RC1?

Hi, does anyone know of any problems that exist with RC1 and DHCP servers, because i currently am unable to get an ip from my isp, i'm on cable. I have to manually enter all the info. I've heard that dhcp doesn't work with non-microsft servers, true or not? Thanks.

I bought a sblive value today and the gameport works fine without anthony's gameportfix for win2k. However, since i'm using win2k 2099 that could be the solution.

The G200 is listed on this site with the caption d3d works. . . In the MS Hardware Compatible List it's also listed under the Direct3D capable display devices. Yet d3d doesn't work in RC1. How to fix that?.

Help on BP6

I've followed what I've read on this forum on how to get the ATA66 controller to run under w2k, but I'm still having problems. Infact I've tried 2 installs. It still can't access the drive when I switch my ATA66 drive over to the ATA66 controller after installing on the ATA33 controller.

Hello, I have just ordered an Abit BP6 and dual 550MHZ processors. I intend on installing NT4 Server when it arrives. I have used NT4 a few times before and have always used FAT16 for the file system.

New Voodoo3 2000 INF

I'm just wondering if there is a big performance boost by using the new Voodoo3 2000 INF? What specifically is this D3D reghack? Right now I am using Anthony's older INF for the Voodoo3 and it is working good, so I don't want to go messing with it unless I'm going to get better performance.

Can someone tell me where to find the voodoo3 V1. 00. 01 drivers (v3wnt4. exe)mentioned in Voodoo3_NT5_D3D&Glide. zip and Voodoo3_NT5_Quake3. zip. . . they seem to have disappeared. .

BP6 and NT 2000

I have recently tried to install Win2000 on my recently purchased BP6 motherboard, but to no avail. (using RC1 build of 2000) I get to the setup screen, and where it should start copying files, it just sits there with my hard drive flashing on for 5 seconds, then off for a few.
