Curious about USB Video cameras in win2k

Hello , this is my first post in this wonderful message board where i have learned so much about windows 2000 that has saved me so many hours of frustration. Thank you all. What I would like to know is has anyone used a USB video camera successfully with windows 2k rc1 or rc2.

Voodoo3, directx and w2k build 2000 RC1

I cannot play any directx games under w2k, and I have installed the drivers posted here at ntgamepalace. I have also tried to install directx, but that doesn´t work at all. Does any have any good ideas? PS.

Okay, I've seen a few hardware tests posted marked failure with this error as the comments on it. I've had this same error, and when I did a little checking here's what I found: I had a Happauge WinTV, a SB Live, a Diamond V550 TV-out, a 3com 905, and a Western Digital PCI Scsi adapter.

ATA66 HD that work with Win2k

Can anyone please tell me what are some ATA66 Hard drives that actually work with Windows 2000 and an Abit BP6? I have a Western Digital and it'll only work in ATA33 mode. Can anyone post what drives they have that work with this combo.

Incomplete boot with RC2

I just finished upgrading from RC1 to RC2. Installation was uneventful (except it couldnt find driver for old ISA scanner SCSI card) but now, every time I boot up I get a blank screen with nothing but the wallpaper and the mouse pointer.

Problems with Hp 6020 Cd writer/reader in windows 2000 build

I have a Asus pc200 scsi card with a Hp 6020 scsi burner. . . . I have big problems when i have no cd in my burner, Then my browse screens hang, etc ( those screens when opening a file in winamp , etc etc ) and when i put a cd in it it works again, or when i disable my 6020 burner in device manager,.

Has anybody gotten this drive to work with RC2? This is the last thing I need to fix! Thanks a lot:-) 92% of the things we worry about don't happen - but the other 8% DO!

RC2 and Voodoo3

Just installed RC2. It seems to work really well. It automatically got my 3dfx card setup. However, no glide drivers are installed, no OpenGL games work, and I'm guessing that Direct3D is turned off.

Win2k Duel celerons freezing

HELP HELP HELP!! Dammit I just upgraded to duel celerons and a ABIT BP6 Mb. When I have win2k as a Standard PC it runs fine, however, if i set it to MPS Multiprocessor PC when ever i do anything with AVi's, Mpg's, Asf's.

abit BP6 drivers

When I installed Win2k, it didn't have a driver for a PCI Input device. Any clues to what this could be referring to. All the hardware I attached seems to be accounted for including the UDMA66 controller.

Just installed RC2 over RC1 and I finally have a working joystick port again!! It seems that they finally included working drivers for Vortex 2 cards. .

Anyone know why dual processors are freezing? I looked on the HCL and the dual 300 is listed I'm using MPS 1. 2 and I get blue screens when I enable multiprocessor mode in my BIOS.
