Shutting down and restart problems!

I have a problem with shutting down and restarting my win2000 computer. Does it have to do with my abit be6-2 mobo? It just gets stuck when you shutdown and restarting does the same? Does anybody know whats wrong?.

CDR software in win2k?

Hi, I'm running Win2k Server on a computer here at work (trying to get it to work as a backup for our NT4 PDC, but that's another story). This computer has a SCSI CDR drive that's worked great under NT4 Server, but EZ CD Creator won't install under 2000.

Shutdown

I've PII 266 with pl97 Asus and when i had Win98 the Pc shutdown ok (Automatically) but now the shutdown is manually. Why is it? Can i change my current chutdown? Thanks. .

I got a stupid question. Why is my graphics adapter properties list the location :PCI bus 1, device 0, function 0. Not AGP? I am using Driver Version : 4. 3. 0. 2102. for my Creative Geforce DDR under Win2k release.

I have Mustek Scanexpress 12000sp whith a SCSI controller. When i try to install the dirvers for the SCSI win2000 can't found it. The SCSI model is: DTC3181X/DTC3151X SCSI HOST ADAPTER Where can i find the new drivers? anyone has the same problem? T.

Memory Range

Hi there, Is there anyway to change the memory range for my Creative Dxr3 on Win2k? The automatic settings are greyed out so I cannot change them, even when logged in as admin. (I need to change the range to creatives suggestion one of F0xxxxxxxx and can't seem to find a way of doing it.

Help me, please ! I have a major problem. I have an Asus V6800 Geforce adapter and a Sigma Designs Hollywood+ mpeg adapter. The problem is that i can not boot windows 2000 if they are both in my pc at the same time.

HELP ASUS P3BF

OK here is the deal. I am running win2k pro a celeron 400, 64 megs of ram (Ouch I know), Viper 770, Vortex 1 Sound card. I have disabled the APIC and my computer still is not acting right. Unreal Tourny will not run I get memory errors, and quake 3 is deadly slow.

Alright here goes. I currently run Windows2000 Pro and with my TNT2U I can't use Direct3D. The game I play all of the time is Dirt Track Racing by Ratbag. At first I said no biggy I'll wait for new drivers, but as we all know that didn't help.

network neighborhood is sooo slow in w2k

I and my friends have knoticed that in network neighborhood viewing others comptuers take so much longer now in win2k. does anyone know why this may be happening on cat 5 utp 10mbit/second rates. .

Hi, I was just wondering. . I installed Win2k on my Computer. . Clean install. . . Fat32 (tried it on NTFS5 also) After installing. . . booting would take 5~8 minutes, starting a program would take more than 5 seconds.

HI there. . I'm very happy with W2K BUT. . . . . . . I've got a toshiba DVD-ROM drive (6x) and a 3dfx voodoo banshee. The performance in win98se is perfect, everything is running smoothly but in W2K it's the oposid, it's like 10 frames/s or less.

Increasing the USB port rate?

Before i got my intellimouse explorer usb, i had a ps2 mouse. I use to have the ps2 rate program and it seams that and over clocked ps2 port gave me a smoother mouse. Is there a way to boost the usb port rate.

Does anybody if I can get Digital Out under win2000 with the 70mb complete liveware package? I like to listen my DVD films using DTT 2500 speakers. I can under Win98SE, but no under Win2000. Thanks!.
