NFS3NT. exe (available here for download) does not work on euro-version of nfs3. Nevertheless i have applied the changes manually (after debugging the patch) and still: requires windows95/98. has anyone installed need for speed III - Hot Peruit under windows nt!?!? HEEEEELP, i want to play now.

Win2k SMP Q3 with a voodoo3?

Anyone been able to get multiprocessor support in Q3 with a voodoo3, Abit BP6 and duel celerons? I'm using the drivers provided by this site I Have the new 3dfxogl. dll renamed to 3dfxvgl. dll and it plays quake sweet @ 53fps in high quality.

Older w2k builds

While trying to get d3d and opengl working on my w2k Pro, I've noticed that all other ppl is using higher builds than mine (2031). With 2031 only Glide will work (freespace 2 rocks)no d3d, and no (apparently) gl support (homeworld demo and q3test refused to run).

TNT+OGL+W2K=BAD GAMMA heheh this is the most annoying thing i've ever seen. I always thought my monitor was dark, but when i tried playing quake 3 with w2k 2072, nothing. Only the brightest parts show up.

Is there still no workaround for the DirectX problem associated with Games searching for DirectX 6? No way to make games like Heavy Gear 2 believe that 6x is installed not 7x?

FYI - Just installed the demo for Red Storms Rouge Spear onto the Win98 system and all runs fine. However after an error free install on the W2K RC1 OS we once again can not run the program. In Red Storms read.

I'm having trouble running this game. Has anyone managed it without problems ? Current win2000 build is 2114. The game loads into the menus, allows everything up to starting a game. . . then just black screen.

Dear all, I've installed the SETDX 6 files and done the patching as described in the readme. txt file but my games - i. e Jeff Wayne's War of The Worlds still prompts for a DX version higher than 5.

Tiberian Sun - Blue Screen crash

I'm trying to run Tiberian Sun on my laptop which is running NT4/SP4. It's a Toshiba Tecra 8000 (PII-266) and the video card is a Neo-Magic with dual TV/LCD capability. I have at least 32MB system RAM (think it's 64 actually).

ok, i'm trying to get both win98 and nt4 on the same comp, with one harddrive. so what i did was formatt and partition my HD, then install 98, and then NT. but after installing NT, and rebooting, my computer stalls after it posts.

Tiberian Sun compatibility?

I note that someone has posted a message saying that they can't get Tiberian Sun to run using DX5. But it also says that it runs under NT in the game section of this site. Does anyone have any official word from Westwood as to whether NT is supported? I couldn't find a thing on their website.

SMP Problems with Q3 and V3 2000 agp

I'm really curious as to why i'm unable to run smp with q3 with the current drivers from 3dfx. Is it the drivers themselves or is it something i'm doing wrong? Currently i'm running nt4 workstation, sp5, 128mg mircon pc100, and a v3 2000 agp.

I have a meaty setip (P3-450, 196Mb, G200) but Quake 3 runs very choppy under NT, but runs a dream under Win98, anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it?

Rainbow 6 in NT 4 with SP 5.

I've been trying to find a way to get Rainbow 6 to work in NY 4 with SP 5. I've got all the various DX 5+ files I could find but don't want to install any of them untill I've got some feedback on what some of these are supposed to do as well as some experienced people.

stuttering sound in games

hi all I'm using w2k(2072), with TNT2 & SBLive!, and with almost every games the sound sounds crappy, with clicks, stuttering etc. . I guess it has something to do with directX, but I'm not sure. . Does anyone has the same pb ? any solutions around that ?.
