Quake3, MX300, and A3D

I tried searching for this in the forums, I was wondering how to be able to run A3D on win2000 retail build with an MX300. Do I need to install certain drivers or something? Oh, btw, I have a single processor system thanks guys, Fusion.

well my machine was not showing up as acpi under computer in device manager so I manuled installed acpi dual processor and my machine would not boot it just showed startup screen then reset so i booted into millenium and used recover of w2k and it worked and my puter shows up as acpi now.

UDMA 66 in WIN2k?

ANyone here get UDMA66 AND Hibernate to work in win2k/ I have the win2k UDMA 66 highpoint drivers 1. 21 and they work fine, but when I try to run/enable hibernate, it wont let me, due to the fact i am using UDMA 66 ANyone get around this?.

I am sorry and I hope that this doesn't start a huge post session but I am trying to get to the bottom of this in order to help others with similar problems. What is so different with NT5 usb support and Win98 usb? There can't be that much difference as the protocols should be identical.

Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro HotKeys

Anyone got all the hotkeys on the latest Microsoft Keyboard working? The keyboard with a top row of buttons to start email programs, search, calculator, my computer, etc. . . Only a few of mine work under Windows 2000.

Disabling UDF under Win2k?

Is there a way of disabling UDF, similar to the Window 98 way. Trouble is, I'm having troubling playing a DVD through my Hollywood Plus. I've already tried a fix which worked under Win98 by disabling UDF, but I've since moved over my major software and use over to Win2k and would like DVD's to run properly.

I cant get the thing to work right in Win2k final. The device manager says it is on the pci bus when the device is on the agp bus. It works in 2d fine but has now hardware or DVD acceleration. I have installed all of the newest drivers and have tried uninstalling all of the microsoft drivers.

HP720c drivers?

I havegot a Hewlet Packard DeskJet 720C. It works under win2k, and it prints text pretty well. When it comes to pictures it does not work quite as well. Sure, it prints the picture, but not as good as it does in win98 with the original drivers.

Where can I find the newest drivers? I have som for the rc2 and they work good, but ot very good. I have 2195 and I really want new drivers! Thanx The MerceD has you. . . .

i have the drivers from ntcompatible,, but i cant choose 16-bit color depth,, tryed change the ddesktop ,, dont help,,, then i tryed older drivers the i choosed 16-bot,, but the the colors was red,gren,yellow and screwd up,, need help

Video problem in Device Manager

When I installed Win2000, I noticed the following problem in the Device Manager under Other Devices: VID_04E6PID_80002000 I am using an ATI 3D Rage Pro AGP 2x video card only. I do not know what the above installation error refers to.

Genoa Video Capture Card

I have a Genoa Systems TV Tuner/Video Capture card (PCI) that will not work with Win2000. It is the VideoMotion Series. Works just fine in Win98. Any suggestions on how to make this card work in Win200? If there is not a workable solution, any recommendations on an inexpensive capture card for Win2000? Thanks Dave.
