SBlive and Hibernate-Standby problems

Installed new beta LiveWare drivers on top of the Dell drivers. Did not have to reboot!? Hibernate and standby worked with Dell drivers, but now I get an error message that PS/2 mouse drivers are preventing system from hybernationstandby.

Avance Logic 4000 win2k drivers wanted

hey is there anyone that has a clue when the win2k drivers for the ALS4000 chip made of avance logic will arrive? I got a e-mail FAQ from their support, and there it says that drivers have been released on 29/02/2000, I think that's a joke because I haven't found anything on the web yet.

How do I make Win2K to crash?

Hello I've been running Win2K for ages now and I can't seem to make it crash! Usually when I get drunk I can get Win98 to crash in 5 mins. . . . Whats wrong with Win2K? Is it Drunk proof or what? Come on, someone help me!.

no buffer space available in w2k

when my available physical memory gets too low, all my internet applications (bpftp, agent, mirc, eudora) stops responding and I get no buffer space available warnings. if i close applications and free physical memory everything starts working again.

Hi all, I'm running a simple 3 computer TCP/IP network at home with my machine being the only one using Win2K. After installing and configuring the OS for my network (workgroup name, etc. ) I was able to browse the network freely.

Hi, I have a problem with my network and wondering if anyone knows of this problem, ok, when i am on a windows 98 machine in my 4 computer network, and i'm trying to access a windows 2000 computer, it comes up with a screen with the network path //Beakball2000//IPC$ and asking for a password.

Stuttering with SBLive

I'm experiencing a really nagging problem with my SBLive. I've tried virtually everything I could find to attempt to stop it from stuttering. When I boot up, it plays most of the start. wav (thunderbolt), then it continues to stutter in a loop.

I have a USB plustek scanner (1212U). The NT4 drivers and 9X drivers do not work with Win2K (2195). If anyone has some suggestions for getting this scanner to work, please let me know. .

I have the Asus v6800 Pure and a dual processor motherboard w/ Win2k. Right now I'm using the Asus 3. 76b1 driver and when I do r_smp 1 in Quake 3 I get a whopping 14 frames per sec. If I take it off I get around 70.

How to enable UDMA on NT4 on a K6-x system

I have NT4 installed on my system (AMD K6-3 400Mhz, 128Mb RAM, SOYO 5EHM mobo (VIA MVP3 chipset) Quantum Fireball EL 7. 6Gb has UDMA support)and I wonder if NT4 would benefit from the VIA 4in1 drivers (to enable UDMA33) for the VIA MVP3 chipset.

Big text in IE5 after explorer crash

I just had explorer crash in Win2k(first time in 2 months) and after restarting all the text in IE5 is 3x bigger than it should be. . its very annoying, cant find anywhere to change it. Any help please?.

I have a Tyan S1598s Mother board with ATA/66 onboard. I am thinking of trying to set up Win2k on my 20 gig WD205aa HDD. I would like to know if anyone has set up win2k on this setup? I tried it with my old motherboard and it would not go.

Cant defrag completely so I can resize partition

Ok heres my hardrive setup 2 gig fat drive c: This partition is active or the boot partition. It doesnt contain the os just the bootfiles and some backup data. Dont ask. 10 gig ntfs partition. Win2k is installed on this partition + everything else.

Mediaplayer doesn't work with TNT2

Hi! I just changed my G200 card to Asus TNT2 card. But now in Windows 2000 Mediaplayer goes blank if I try to move it's window when show windows contents is turned on. If I turn off Mediaplayers acceleration then it works fine, but it's so slow that I can't use it.

I have seen elsewhere on this site that the only driver that works for this scanner in W2K is the 3. 52 driver. Where can it be found? I have looked at the UMAX US and European sites, and the latest driver is 3.

big problems with asus TNT 3.79 beta drivers

does anyone else have strange problems with the new 3. 79 beta nvidia drivers from asus? sometimes when i change resolution on my desktop or when i enter a game that switches display mode my palette becomes totaly screwed.

I am planning on getting a new scsi controller and 10G or so hard drive for my Win2k system. But I don't want to spend too much on them, hopefully some like around $400 dollar or less. Any advice will be great.
